Handsome Siblings (Шаблон:Zh) is a 2020 Chinese television series based on the novel Juedai Shuangjiao by Gu Long. It aired on both CCTV and Netflix.[1][2]

Plot

The story follows twin brothers who were separated at birth.

He was trained and brought up to think that he will be the top villain in the martial arts world. Over the years, he has learned many tricks and becomes a mischievous prankster, though with a good heart.After leaving Villains' Valley, he meets Hua Wu Que, who he doesn’t know is actually his twin brother.
Hu Yitian Hua Wu Que / Jiang Feng Hua Wu Que grew up in Yi Hua Palace under the care of Princess Yao Yue.After completing his martial arts training, he was sent out of the palace by Princess Yao Yue to kill Jiang Xiao Yu with his own hands .He fell in love with Tie Xin Lan.
Vicky Liang Tie Xin Lan She is the daughter of the Tie Zhan, one of the ten great villains .Tie Xin Lan is a charming, and soft-hearted woman.She fell in love with Hua Wu Que
Liang Jie Su Ying Wei Wuya's adopted daughter. She loves Xiao Yu'er deeply and follows him everywhere

Reception

Handsome Siblings received generally positive reviews, scoring 8.2 on IMDb as of August 2020.[3] Stephen McCarty of the South China Morning Post's Post Magazine noted that despite the story being adapted multiple times, this rendition was a "visual feast" and compared it to "Cirque du Soleil meets Journey to the West".[4] Frankie Stein of Film Daily also gave the series a positive review, praising its multiple story lines, comprehensive plot, and exploration of the themes of loyalty and the meaning of being good or evil. She also noted that the series' distribution on Netflix would introduce a more global audience to an "old Chinese tale".[5]
