Hasbulla Magomedovich MagomedovШаблон:Efn (born 7 July 2002), simply known as Hasbulla or Hasbik,Шаблон:Efn is a Russian social media personality. He has dwarfism caused by a growth hormone deficiency, and stands at Шаблон:Height tall. Hasbulla first gained fame in 2021 due to a viral TikTok video and has since made collaborations with high-profile mixed martial arts fighters and other personalities, including Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev, Alexander Volkanovski, Dana White, Mark Wahlberg, Shaquille O'Neal and the Nelk Boys.[1][2]
Personal life
Hasbulla grew up Makhachkala, Republic of Dagestan, Russia, and is the son of Magomed Magomedov, a plumber.[3][4] He is a Muslim[5] and of Dargin ethnicity.[6][7] He said in an interview on Full Send podcast that he disliked the four years he spent in an Islamic school, labeling it as a "prison."[8] His informal interpreter, Surkhay Sungurov, said that Hasbulla convinced a friend to drive the 200 kilometers to help him escape the school. Once he left, he began creating videos for the internet.[9]
He has a form of dwarfism caused by a growth hormone deficiency and stands at Шаблон:Height tall, weighing 18 kg (40 lbs).[10][11] His sister also has the same medical condition.Шаблон:Citation needed However, his and his sister's form of dwarfism is unknown, as he stated that doctors have never given him a definitive diagnosis.[9] The New York Times wrote that he is passionate about "shooting guns, driving fast cars, practicing fighting moves, and playing pranks."[9]
He owns a Scottish Fold named Barsik (Шаблон:Lang-ru).[12] Hasbulla also owns a white Lada Riva (also known as "Semyorka").Шаблон:Citation neededHe is very memetic because he make a lot of memes.
Career
One of Hasbulla's first viral videos show him driving a motorized scooter and lecturing a young person on a bicycle about pandemic restrictions, telling him to go home. In another video, Hasbulla was eating strawberries.[9]
During 2021 and 2022, he had a satirical publicized dispute with Abdu Rozik[13] and Uzbek Erali.[14]
In September 2022, Hasbulla signed a five-year promotion contract with the UFC.[15][16][17][18]
Since 2021, Hasbulla has participated in commercial ventures, including licensing his image to be used in products[19] and releasing an NFT collection.[20]
In March 2023, after touring the United States with Nelk, he came under backlash for scolding his pet cat, by pulling her ear.[21][22]
