Шаблон:Short description Шаблон:See also Шаблон:Infobox enzyme In enzymology, a (+)-borneol dehydrogenase (Шаблон:EC number) is an enzyme that increases the rate of, or catalyzes, the chemical reaction

(+)-borneol + NADШаблон:Sup <math>\rightleftharpoons</math> (+)-camphor + NADH + HШаблон:Sup

Thus, the two substrates of this enzyme are (+)-borneol and [[nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide|NADШаблон:Sup]], whereas its 3 products are (+)-camphor, NADH, and [[hydrogen ion|HШаблон:Sup]].

This enzyme belongs to the family of oxidoreductases, specifically those acting on the CH-OH group of donor with NADШаблон:Sup or NADPШаблон:Sup as acceptor. The systematic name of this enzyme class is (+)-borneol:NADШаблон:Sup oxidoreductase. This enzyme is also called bicyclic monoterpenol dehydrogenase.
