The 10.5 cm SK C/28Шаблон:Refn gun was developed by Germany during the late 1920s. It was the primary armament of the six Type 24 torpedo boats of the Reichsmarine.

Development and description

The gun was designed in 1928–1930 and entered service the latter year. It weighed Шаблон:Convert and had an overall length of Шаблон:Convert. Its 52-caliber barrel was Шаблон:Convert long. The gun fired Шаблон:Convert fixed ammunition with a Шаблон:Convert projectile at a muzzle velocity of Шаблон:Convert. This gave it a range of Шаблон:Convert at an elevation of 30°.[1]

The gun was only used on the single-gun MPL C/30 mounting. It had a traverse of 360° and elevation limits of -10° and +30°. The manually operated mount could be traversed and elevated at a speed of 3° per second. The gun had a rate of fire of 15 rounds per minute.[2]

The guns aboard the Type 24 torpedo boats Шаблон:Ship and Шаблон:Ship were bored out in 1932 to Шаблон:Convert and served as prototypes for the [[12.7 cm SK C/34 naval gun|Шаблон:Convert SK C/34 gun]].[3]
