Led by third-year head coach Dave Brock, the Fightin' Blue Hens compiled an overall record of 4–7 with a mark of 3–5 in conference play, placing in a four-way tie for seventh in the CAA. The team played home games at Delaware Stadium in Newark, Delaware.
