Each team's roster consisted of at least 15 skaters (forwards and defencemen) and two goaltenders, and at most 22 skaters and three goaltenders. All 16 participating nations, through the confirmation of their respective national associations, had to submit a roster by the first IIHF directorate meeting.

Austria
A 29-player roster was announced on 24 April 2018.[1] It was reduced to 27 on 30 April 2018.[2]

Head coach: Dave Lewis was the acting head coach until 8 May 2018, after that Sergei Pushkov took over.[3]
Czech Republic
A 32-player roster was announced on 26 April 2018.[4] It was down to 26 on 29 April 2018.[5]
