The 2023–24 Plunket Shield is the 95th season of the Plunket Shield, the domestic first-class cricket competition that is played in New Zealand. The tournament started on 20 October 2023, and the final round of matches will be played in 24 March 2024. Central Districts are the defending champions, having won their 12th title the previous year.
