Future releases

  • Green Day is scheduled to release their 14th studio album, Saviors, on January 19, 2024. The album will be the band's first in four years, and first in twelve years to be recorded with record producer Rob Cavallo, who previously produced Dookie (1994) and American Idiot (2004).[1][2]
  • Welsh pop punk band Neck Deep is scheduled to release their fifth studio album, Neck Deep on January 19, 2024. After unsuccessful recording sessions in Los Angeles, the returned to their hometown and recorded a "back to basics" pop punk album more similar to their earlier albums.[3]
  • Static X is scheduled to release their eighth studio album, and second after the death of the band's founder and frontman Wayne Static in 2014, Project Regeneration Vol. 2 on January 26, 2024. Much like the first Project Regeneration release, it features a mix of vocals tracks recorded by Wayne Static prior to his death, and vocals from new vocalist Xero.[4][5]
  • Bring Me the Horizon is scheduled to release Post Human: Nex Gen, the follow up to Post Human: Survival Horror (2020) and the second entry of their four part music release of the Post Human series. The released was originally scheduled for September 2023, but was delayed to 2024 due to "unforseen circumstances" that lead the band to not be able to finish it to a satisfactorily level.[6][7]
  • Sum 41 is scheduled to release their eighth studio album, Heaven and Hell in early 2024. It will be a double album, with the Heaven album being styled around the band's earlier pop punk sound, and the Hell album being styled closer to the band's more heavier metal sound explored in their more recent 2010s album releases.[8][9]
  • Slipknot band members are scheduled to release an album. The album, Look Outside Your Window, was recorded by four of the band's member's in 2008 during the band's lengthy All Hope Is Gone sessions. It's not planned on being a traditional Slipknot album due to its more experimental and melodic rock sound.[10] The band once aimed to release it in 2023 once band members were scheduled from their record label contract.[11] It was delayed to 2024 due to Corey Taylor's commitment to his second solo album CMF2 in the second half of 2023.[12]
  • Korn is planning on releasing their fifteenth studio album. The band concurrently plans on celebrating the 30th anniversary of their first album, Korn (1994).[13]
  • Deftones are scheduled to release their tenth studio album in mid-2024. Work on the album began in early 2023, and will be their third album working with music producer Nick Raskulinecz.[14]
  • Slash is scheduled to release another solo album in 2024. Unlike the four solo albums he released under the moniker of Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, the album will be more like his self-titled 2010 solo album that featured a variety of different singers and collaborators across the album's tracks. The album also explores a more blues rock sound.[15][16]
  • Welsh rock band Feeder is scheduled to release their twelfth studio album, a double album titled Red/Black. The release was recorded to be a trilogy of albums between it and Torpedo (2022), and will mark 4 albums in 5 years after Tallulah (2024). The band, started in the 1990s, has seen a resurgence of commercial success in the UK with its prior two albums.[17][18][19]
  • Coldplay is scheduled to release their tenth studio album, Moon Music. Frontman Chris Martin described the album as "almost done" in January 2023, though he said that the album would not be released right away after completion, as the band was focusing on touring first.[20]
  • The Offspring is scheduled to release their eleventh studio album in early-to-mid 2024. Work on the album began in March 2023,[21] and like their previous three studio albums, it was produced by Bob Rock.[22][23]
  • Guns N' Roses are scheduled to release their seventh studio album, which will be the follow-up to Chinese Democracy (2008) and the first studio album to include all-new original material with guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan since the double Use Your Illusion albums in 1991. Since the band reunited with Slash and McKagan in 2016, there has been talk of a new album from Guns N' Roses, and Slash has stated that they may release new music in 2024.[24][25]
  • Social Distortion is scheduled to release their eighth studio album. The band's follow-up to 2011's Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes was originally set for release in 2023, but vocalist and guitarist Mike Ness' diagnosis with stage one tonsil cancer delayed the album's release to early the next year.[26]
