Edburga (minor planet designation: 413 Edburga) is a typical Main belt asteroid. Max Wolf discovered it on 7 January 1896 at Heidelberg Observatory.[1] The origin of the name is unknown.[2] This asteroid is orbiting the Sun at a distance of Шаблон:Val with a period of Шаблон:Convert and an eccentricity of 0.34. Its orbital plane is inclined at an angle of 18.7° to the plane of the ecliptic.[1]

Analysis of the asteroid's light curve based on photometric data collected during 2011 shows a rotation period of Шаблон:Val with a brightness variation of Шаблон:Val in magnitude. This is consistent with prior results.[3] This is classified as an M-type asteroid in the Tholen system and X-type in the Bus and Binzel taxonomy,[4] with a moderate albedo and generally featureless near infrared spectra. An absorption feature has been detected at a wavelength 3 μm, suggesting this is W-type.[4] It spans a diameter of Шаблон:Val.[5] Radar echoes are bimodal, suggesting a bifurcated structure that is likely a contact binary.[4]
