A-F Records is an American independent record label founded by punk rock band Anti-Flag and based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was created to help expose more political punk bands to a larger audience. The label's offices were damaged when a September 2004 flood hit Pittsburgh. Although employees saved much of the equipment and inventory, A-F Records dropped Inhuman, Tabula Rasa, and Virus Nine in the wake of the flood for financial reasons.[1]

They have formerly been distributed on Mordam but moved to RedEye when Mordam was bought by Lumberjack in early 2006.

Record label folding

Following the announcement made via Patreon on July 19, 2023, regarding Anti-Flag's breakup, it came to light that frontman Justin Sane had been accused of rape. Twelve other women have accused the singer of predatory behavior, sexual assault, and statutory rape. Within days of Anti-Flag's breakup, several bands announced their departure from the band's record label, A-F Records.

In beginning of September 2023, members of Anti-Flag had informed Rolling Stone that they were "in the process of unwinding the label, including returning master rights and physical records/merchandise to the bands, which will take some time to complete properly.”[2]
