Abareq (Шаблон:Lang-fa, also Romanized as Ābāreq; also known as Ābārak-e Bālā, Abargh, Ebareg Bālā, Ebareg-e Bālā, Ebāreg-e Bālā, Ebāreq-e Bālā, and Erbārag-e Bālā)[1] is a village in, and the capital of, Abareq Rural District of Deh Bakri District, Bam County, Kerman province, Iran.[2]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,896 in 457 households, when it was in Howmeh Rural District of the Central District.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 3,199 people in 923 households.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,568 people in 1,264 households.[5]

In 2018, Deh Bakri Rural District was separated from the district in the establishment of Deh Bakri District, which was divided into two rural districts;[2] and the village of Deh Bakri was renamed Deh Bid as the capital of the new district.[6]
