Abdikhadir Ahmed Aw-Ali (Шаблон:Lang-so), nicknamed Firdhiye, is the current president of Khatumo State of Somalia.[1]

Biography

Firdhiye was born in Taleh in 1972. He received his primary and secondary education at Las Anod. He studied Islamic Studies at Umma University in Kenya, also he studied postgraduate master degree Malaysia. [2] In addition, he holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi.[3]

He lived in Nairobi as manager of Amal group of companies in east Africa. Since 2009, he has had the idea to make Khatumo independent, which affected his work and he was temporarily took some time off from the company, he never give up what he believes.[3]

President of SSC-Khatumo

On August 5, 2023, he became the President of the SSC-Khatumo with majors votes of SSC khaatumo Parliaments.[2][4] The election was reportedly a democratic process.[5] He was 51 years old at the time.[6]

On August 25, he visited a hospital in Yagori and delivered a speech.[7] At the speech, he reported that SSC-Khatumo had taken over the Somaliland Force's Gooja-Adde base east of Las Anod.[8] On August 26, he mentioned the exchange of prisoners of war with Somaliland.[9] On August 27, Firdhiye asked the Somaliland government not to attack Las Anod.[10]

On August 29, Firdhiye visited Guumays, welcomed Vice President of Puntland.[11]

On September 15, Somalia interior minister announced that the Federal Government of Somalia recognize that SSC-Khatumo belongs to Somalia.[12]

On 6 October 2023, an SSC delegation led by Firdhiye was invited by Somalia Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre to visit the Somalia capital Mogadishu. In response, Jamaahirta, Chairperson of the SSC Youth Party JWP, said, "president firdhiye fully represent People of SSC Khaatumo and what he did to warlords Muse Bihi in 25the August 2023 was a historic defeat. Red Cross has confirmed over 400 military prisoners hold SSC from Somaliland."[13]
