Шаблон:Multiple issues Adrian Raymond Everett (born in 1975 in Birmingham) is a former combat pilot in the British Royal Air Force, a champion in V24 offshore powerboat racing, and the founder of E-Lites cigarettes, which was acquired by JTI.[1][2]

Early life and career

Everett's interest in aviation began at a young age when he expressed a keen interest in flying planes. At the age of 14, he developed a passion for the military and flying Royal Air Force (RAF) planes. He earned a flying scholarship from the RAF, where he underwent a year of training before obtaining his private pilot license. Joining the RAF, he underwent rigorous training on aircraft such as the Firefly, Tucano, and Jetstream. Eventually, he became a certified combat pilot, flying Hercules C-130K in operations across Iraq, Afghanistan and Sierra Leone, earning him multiple service medals.[1]

Following his service in the RAF, Everett transitioned to powerboat racing. In 2007, he won the British No. 1 title in V24 offshore powerboat racing.[3] Subsequently, he ventured into real estate business but unfortunately faced challenges during the economic downturn in the UK.[4][1]

Everett developed the idea of e-cigarettes as an alternative to traditional tobacco cigarettes, which were facing restrictions in licensed premises.[5] In 2008, he co-founded E-Lites, an e-cigarette company.[6] He managed to exit for an undisclosed amount to JTI in 2013. Everett later co-founded NEAFS and currently serves as the CEO.[7][8]
