Name

History
Aimetis was founded in 2003 and launched the digital video recorder AIRA 2400 (Artificial Intelligence Real-time Analysis).[4] The AIRA 2400 won Best Commercial Product at the Security Industry Association New Product Showcase.[5]
In 2007, Aimetis was a regional finalist for the Innovation Award for New Technology by the Industrial Research Assistance Program(NRC-IRAP) for the AIRA v5.
In 2008, the company launched Aimetis Symphony video management software. It was subsequently awarded the 2008 Global Video Analytics Product Innovation of the Year Award from Frost & Sullivan.[6] Aimetis ranked seventh overall for software-only vendors of open platform network video management software in terms of revenue.Шаблон:Citation needed
In 2010, Aimetis became an Axis Communications Gold Level Application Development Partner and has maintained that level since.[7] Axis Communications awarded Aimetis Partner of the Year for North Asia that year, and again in 2011, 2012, and 2014.[8]
In 2011, Aimetis expanded to include hardware by launching the E3200 Physical Security Appliance. The E3200 won Best in Video Storage, Distribution and Management at the ISC West New Product Showcase by the Security Industry Association.[9]
In 2013, Aimetis was named one of Deloitte's 2013 Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of fastest growing technology companies in North America.[10] The company was also part of Deloitte Canada's Technology Fast 50™.[11]
In May 2015, CIBC World Markets named Aimetis as one of the Top 25 Emerging Technology Companies in Canada.[12] In November 2015, Deloitte again named Aimetis to their Technology Fast 500™ list.[13]
In April 2016, Aimetis was acquired by Senstar Corporation.[14]
Aimetis has over 12,000 deployments across markets including city surveillance, education, healthcare, retail, and transportation.[15] They have over 50 distributors and 800 certified reseller partners and original equipment manufacturer in more than 100 countries.
