Alexandru Buligan (born 22 April 1960) is a retired Romanian handball goalkeeper who played a record of 280 international games for Romania.[1] He won bronze medals at the 1984 Summer Olympics and the 1990 World Championships.[2]
At the club level he played in Romania until 1990 and in Spain from 1990 to 2002. After that he worked as a goalkeeper coach and assistant for the Spain men's national handball team, winning with them the 2005 World Men's Handball Championship.[3]
