Шаблон:Short description Шаблон:Infobox song "All I Want" is a song by American alternative rock band Toad the Wet Sprocket from their 1991 album, Fear. It was the band's first commercially successful single, and became arguably their most well-known song. "All I Want" reached the top 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian RPM Top Singles chart, and landed at number 53 on the Billboard Year-End charts.

Two versions of the song exist: An unmastered mix featured on the album, and another version with more pronounced vocal mastering—most noticeable on the songs hook—which was sent to radio for its release as a single, parenthetically labeled a remix. [1]

Composition

On the song's content, singer Glen Phillips said, "It's very much about how fleeting any kind of epiphany is. It's all about the moment passing very, very quickly and how there's a desire to hold onto it. That would be a constant, but it comes and it goes, and it goes very quickly."[2]
