He won the GOLD medal in the [[2022 World Wrestling Championships – Men's Greco-Roman 130 kg|130Шаблон:Nbspkg]] event at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia.[1][2] He represented Iran at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.
He won the gold medal in the 130Шаблон:Nbspkg event at both the 2020 Asian Wrestling Championships held in New Delhi, India and the 2021 U23 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia.
Career
In 2019, Mirzazadeh represented Iran at the Military World Games held in Wuhan, China and he won one of the bronze medals in the [[Wrestling at the 2019 Military World Games|130Шаблон:Nbspkg]] event.[3]
In 2020, Mirzazadeh won the gold medal in the 130Шаблон:Nbspkg event at the Asian Wrestling Championships held in New Delhi, India.[4][5] In the final, he defeated Kim Min-seok of South Korea. In 2021, he won the gold medal in his event at the 2021 Wladyslaw Pytlasinski Cup held in Warsaw, Poland.[6][7]
In August 2021, he lost his bronze medal match against Rıza Kayaalp of Turkey in the [[Wrestling at the 2020 Summer Olympics – Men's Greco-Roman 130 kg|men's 130Шаблон:Nbspkg]] event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.[8][9] In November 2021, he won the gold medal in the [[2021 U23 World Wrestling Championships – Men's Greco-Roman 130 kg|130Шаблон:Nbspkg]] event at the U23 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia.[10][11]
In April 2023, he won the gold medal in his event at the 2023 Asian Wrestling Championships held in Astana, Kazakhstan by defeating Meng Lingzhe.[12]In September that year, he became world champion by defeating Rıza Kayaalp at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships.
