Political career
In parliament, Assimakopoulou has since been serving on the Committee on International Trade and the Committee on Petitions (2019-2020). In 2020, she also joined the Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence in a Digital Age.[2]
In addition to her committee assignments, Assimakopoulou has been part of the parliament's delegation for relations with Israel since 2021.[3] She is also a member of the European Internet Forum,[4] the European Parliament Intergroup on Disability[5] and the MEPs Against Cancer group.[6]
