Antonio Eromonsele Nordby Nusa (born 17 April 2005) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays for Belgian Pro League club Club Brugge and the Norway national team.
Club career
Starting his career in Langhus IL, he moved to Stabæk's youth section at the age of 13.[1] He was given the chance for the senior team in early 2021, scored in a friendly match, and subsequently signed for the senior squad.[2] He made his Eliteserien debut in May 2021 against Rosenborg, and scored his first goal in June 2021 against Bodø/Glimt.[1]
During the last transfer day of summer 2021, he signed a contract with Club Brugge. On 13 September 2022, he scored a goal in his Champions League debut in a 4–0 away win against FC Porto,[3] becoming the youngest player to score on his debut in the competition.[4]
In 2024, Nusa was linked with a transfer to Tottenham or Brentford but after a failed medical, a move to Brentford now seems unlikely.[5][6][7][8]
International career
Nusa was called up by the Norway U19s for the elite qualifying round for the 2023 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, and scored the winner in a 2–1 win over France in Orléans.[9]
In August 2023, Nusa received his first call-up to the Norway senior national team by head coach Ståle Solbakken, for a friendly match against Jordan and a UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying match against Georgia.[10]
He scored his first international goal for Norway in his debut match against Jordan.
Personal life
Born in Norway, Nusa is of Nigerian descent through his father and Norwegian descent through his mother.[11]
