Шаблон:Short description Шаблон:Infobox religious biography Ashfaque Hussain Naeemi (19 December 1921 – 15 October 2013)[1] was the Grand Mufti of Rajasthan.[2] He belonged to Qadiriyya Silsila of Sufism and a leader of the Barelvi movement of Sunni Islam in Rajasthan.[3][4][5][6] He was the founder of Madrasa Darul Uloom Ishaquiya, Ashfaqiya Institute and Ishaqiya Senior Secondary School in Jodhpur.[7] He was the mureed of Mustafa Raza Khan Qadri and Mukhtar Ashraf. He was succeeded by Sher Muhammad Razvi as the Grand Mufti of Rajasthan.[8][9] He is buried in Khanqah Ashfaqiya, Chokha, Rajasthan.[10][11]

Early life and education

Ashfaque Hussain Naeemi was born on 19 December 1921 in Shivnali village of Amroha district, Uttar Pradesh into a Turkish origin family.[12]

He became a student of Ajmal Hussain Sambhali and he started issuing Fatwa in 1943 under the guidance of Ajmal Sambhali. He later did Bait to Naeemuddin Moradabadi, Mustafa Raza Khan Qadri, Mukhtar Ashraf, Mufti Taqdas Ali Khan, Syed Ashrafi Al-Jilani and Ziauddin Muhajir Madani.
