His brother, Alessandro, also played for Milan as a footballer. Attilio is a member of the A.C. Milan Hall of Fame.[1] He represented the Italy national football team five times, the first being Italy's first ever match on 15 May 1910, the occasion of a friendly match against France in a 6–2 home win. He was also part of Italy's squad for the football tournament at the 1912 Summer Olympics, but he did not play in any matches.[2]
