Balochi Rugs (Balochi:Шаблон:Nq) are a group of carpets that are woven by the Baloch tribes in Nimroz province, Sistan and Baluchistan and Khorasan (Khorasani Baloch) in the northeast and southeast of Iran.[1][2]

The size of Baloch rugs are eight feet in length, which made them lighter and easier to transport.[3]

Nature, animal figurines, religious beliefs in Baluch prayer rug[4] and objects of interest and use by the people of the tribe and the villagers are visualized in these designs, which are mostly designed geometrically with lines and surfaces, geometric designs can make abstract and non-abstract patterns in the simplest way, They can depict as possible.[5]

Material and Color

Their material typically include of wool or a mixture of wool and goat hair, newer carpets have a warp made of cotton and sturdy wool pile rugs.[3]

The colors of Baloch rugs is a dark combination of reds, browns, and blues with touches of white.[1]
