Bol is a municipality on the south of the island of Brač in the Split-Dalmatia County of Croatia.

In the 2011 census the total population was 1,630, of which 1,609 in the settlement of Bol, while there's also a separate settlement of Murvica.

Bol (its name is derived from the Latin word "vallum") is renowned for its most popular beach, the Zlatni Rat ("Golden cape").[1][2] It is a promontory composed mostly of pebble rock that visibly shifts with the tidal movement. The Adriatic Sea water at Zlatni Rat is clear and somewhat cold due to the strong current of the strait it is situated in. There is a beach on either side of the horn. Bol is a popular tourist destination known for its harbourside bars, restaurants, and wind surfing conditions.

The Dominican church in the town contains several paintings by Tripo Kokolja.

Stina Winery, located close to the port of Bol, is where they make the traditional Stina wine. The guided tours are there which provide information about the island of Brac's winemaking history. Moreover, There is the chance to sample various types of wine, including a tasting of red wine.[3]
