Шаблон:Advert Boparan Holdings Ltd. is a company based in Birmingham, England, that owns food production and restaurant businesses. It is owned by Ranjit Singh Boparan and his wife, Baljinder Kaur Boparan.[1] In March 2020, Boparan acquired an Italian restaurant chain Carluccio's for £3.4 million. In October 2020, Boparan purchased Gourmet Burger Kitchen.[2]

2 Sisters Food Group

Currently, the group possesses 36 manufacturing sites in the United Kingdom, eight in the Netherlands, five in Ireland, and one in Poland. It sustains a workforce of 23,000 individuals and reports an annual sales turnover of £3.12 billion. Northern Foods

Шаблон:Main After a period of asset disposal, on 17 November 2010, Northern Foods announced that it would be merging with Irish ready-made meals supplier Greencore. The new business will be called Essenta, and it will have its corporate headquarters in Ireland in addition to being listed on the London Stock Exchange.

On 21 January 2011, Boparan made a bid of £341 million to purchase Northern Foods,[3] and in April, he was appointed as the company's chairman. In May 2011, the company was delisted from the London Stock Exchange.

FishWorks

FishWorks is a seafood restaurant chain that was originally started by Mitch Tonks.[4]

Harry Ramsden's

Шаблон:Main Compass Group sold its specialized airports and railways sector SSP, which included the Harry Ramsden's chain of fish and chip shops, to the Swedish investment firm EQT Partners in April 2006 for a sum of £1.822 million. In 2008, Chris Sullivan was appointed the new Managing Director. [5][6] On 19 January 2010, SSP sold Harry Ramsden's to Boparan Ventures Ltd, the private investment vehicle of Boparan.[7] BVL announced plans to open another 100 units in the next five years and create 600 new jobs.[8]

In August 2019, all 34 Harry Ramsden's were sold to Deep Blue Restaurants.[9]

Cinnamon Collection

In January 2016, Boparan Restaurant Holdings (BRH) acquired the Cinnamon Collection chain of three Indian restaurants in London.[10]

Grove Farm Turkey

In April 2016, the Boparan Private Office acquired the Irish Turkey business Grove Farm.[11]

Giraffe Restaurants

Шаблон:Main In June 2016, the supermarket chain Tesco announced that it will be selling 15-venue Giraffe Restaurants chain to Boparan Restaurants for "an undisclosed sum" three years after purchasing the brand for £50 million.[12]

Bernard Matthews

Шаблон:Main In September 2016, it was announced that Singh's Private Office (Boparan's Private Office) would acquire turkey producer Bernard Matthews for £87.5 million.[13]

Ed's Easy Diner

Шаблон:Main In October 2016, Singh's Private Office added its restaurant and dining portfolio with the acquisition of the 1950s-themed restaurant chain Ed's Easy Diner.[14]

Carluccio's
