Boxted is a village and civil parish in the Babergh district of Suffolk, England. Located around Шаблон:Convert north of Sudbury, in 2005 it had a population of 120. From the 2011 Census the population was included in the civil parish of Somerton.

According to Eilert Ekwall, the meaning of the village name is place where box grow. The village is mentioned in the Domesday Book, at which time it had a population of 25.
