Английская Википедия:Bulacan's 1st congressional district
Шаблон:Short description Шаблон:Use mdy dates Шаблон:Infobox constituency Bulacan's 1st congressional district is one of the seven congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Bulacan. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1916 and earlier in the Philippine Assembly from 1907 to 1916.[1] The district consists of the provincial capital city of Malolos and adjacent municipalities of Bulakan, Calumpit, Hagonoy, Paombong and Pulilan. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Danilo A. Domingo of the National Unity Party (NUP).[2]
Prior to its second dissolution in 1972, the first district encompassed the western Bulacan municipalities of Balagtas, Bulacan (now Bulakan), Bustos, Calumpit, Guiguinto (formerly Bigaa), Hagonoy, Malolos, Paombong, Plaridel (formerly Quingua), and Pulilan.[3] Following the restoration of the Congress in 1987, it was reduced to encompass six municipalities in its present jurisdiction, while four other municipalities were reassigned to the second district.[4][5]
