Шаблон:Infobox university Chandpur Government College (Шаблон:Lang-bn) is a college in Chandpur, Bangladesh. It is one of the oldest colleges in Chandpur as well as in Chittagong Division. It offers higher secondary education (HSC). It has honours and master's degree programs as well which are affiliated to National University.

History

The foundation stone of Chandpur College was laid on 15 June 1946 by Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, Prime Minister of undivided Bengal.[1][2]

There are five academic buildings:

Library

The library is situated in main building of the college. It has a collection around 24,000 books.[3]

Residential student halls

There are three residential halls:[3]

  • Shaheed Zia Hostel (boys)
  • Sher-e-Bangla Hostel (boys)
  • Sheikh Hasina Girl's Hostel

Mosque

There is a mosque in the college campus.[3]

Chandpur Government College offers HSC, four years Honours, and one year Masters course in various majors.
