Шаблон:Short description Шаблон:Infobox rockunit The Chaochuan Formation is a geologic formation in China (Zhejiang Province). It is made up of purplish red calcarenaceous, muddy siltstone, fine-grained sandstone with interbeds of tuffaceous sandstone and conglomerate or rhyolitic tuff.[1]
