Шаблон:Short description Шаблон:Infobox person Chaudhry Aurangzeb (born October 25, 1985) is a Pakistani entrepreneur and politician known for his real estate work as the CEO of Al-Kabir Developers.[1] He was the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Etihad which later merged into Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.[2] He now represents PTI from the constituency of NA-137 Okara. Aurangzeb is also the chairman of the Blessings for All Foundation.[3][4][5][6]
Early life and education
Aurangzeb was born on October 25, 1985, in Kanduwal Village of Depalpur District, Okara, Pakistan. His father's name is Chaudhry Abdul Aziz. Aurangzeb moved to Lahore by the age of 13. Aurangzeb earned his BA degree from Punjab University.[3]
Career
Aurangzeb started his career working in a restaurant, then as a clerk in a factory while studying. Following his graduation, he started working at Bahria Town.[7] A few years later, he started working in real estate under the supervision of Rafiq Hasrat, and after two years he started his own office, Al-Kabir Associates.[3]
In 2012, Aurangzeb established the Al-Kabir Group and from there he went for real estate ventures in Lahore and other areas of Pakistan such as Al Kabir Town project which was launched in December 2016. In April 2021, Aurangzeb launched a political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Etihad (PTE), a registered Pakistani political party.[8][9][10][11]
In 2022 he launched the Blessing for all foundation with late poet Amjad Islam Amjad, retired Major Rafiq Hasrat and the founder of Akhuwat Foundation, Dr. Amjad Saqib.[5][6][12][13][14]
In September 2022, Aurangzeb joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) since the ideological basis of PTI is in line with PTE, and will contest in the election from NA-137 on the PTI ticket.[14][15][16][17][18][19][20]
