Russ died just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dressel mentions that they were partners for nearly 39 years. Currently, Dressel and his cousin, Sara, work together in their real estate business.

Dressel explains that his work entails a wide range of activities, involving collaboration with various professionals such as brokers, bankers, realtors, vendors, and managers. He emphasizes the diversity of his responsibilities, which include leasing to small businesses and handling different aspects of the business. While he no longer deals with day-to-day maintenance tasks like fixing leaky toilets, he remains involved in other aspects of the operation.
