Cläre Hunsdiecker (Шаблон:Nee) (1903–1995) was a German chemist who worked with her husband Heinz Hunsdiecker (1904–1981) to improve a reaction of Alexander Borodin now known as the Hunsdiecker reaction.[1][2] They received both US[3] and German patents[4] for the work.

Education

Hunsdiecker earned her Ph.D. from the University of Cologne.[5][6]

For many years, it was believed that there was no photographic image of Hunsdiecker in existence. In 2020, an image was located by an undergraduate student at the University of Melbourne.Шаблон:Cn
