It had a population of 704 people and has 261 houses. Nearby towns are Fusté, San José, Dolores, Corona, Aguijón, and Santana.[1]

Location

The town is located on the intersection of the Carretera a Luis Arcos Bergnes, going to Luis Arcos Bergnes and the Carretera de Camajuaní, going to Camajuaní. To the north is the hamlet of Fusté, to the west is the town of El Berro in the municipality of Santa Clara, and to the east is the hamlet of Blanquizal. In the center of the town is the #1343 Old Train of the Central Carmita/CAI Luis Arcos Bergnes, a sugar mill in Luis Arcos Bergnes.

On the southern part of the town is the reparto (similar to a barrio) of Reparto Nuevo (New Reparto). The town also includes the Zona 52 (52nd Zone) of the municipality. [2] On the north part is the reparto of Reparto Viejo (Old Reparto), on the Carretera a Luis Arcos Bergnes. [3]
