Cyprian F. Edward-Ekpo is a Nigerian legal scholar, institutional administrator, human rights advocate and professor of law. He is the current president and director-general, Institute of Law Research & Development of United Nations (ILAWDUN) based in Washington DC, USA and principal executive director and member of the board of Universal School of Eclectic Analysis, Legal Research & Law Studies (UNIRSEL), Suffolk, United Kingdom.[1][2][3]

Career

Cyprian Edward-Ekpo is the managing partner and dean of research at Multi-Intelligence Development Company – a legal consultancy firm specialized in oil and gas, environmental and intellectual property law.[4][5] He was an advisor to the Nigerian Senate Committee on Environment and Ecology from 2012 to 2018 and served in similar roles with agencies and corporate institutions in Africa and Europe. He is the current president and director-general, Institute of Law Research & Development of United Nations (ILAWDUN) an independent, and autonomous institute that conducts research into international law at all levels based in Washington DC, USA and principal executive director and member of the board of Universal School of Eclectic Analysis, Legal Research & Law Studies, Suffolk, United Kingdom.  He is the registrar of International Institute for Humanitarian & Environmental Law (ISHERL), board chair of Roseline Edward-Ekpo Foundation for Promotion of Health in Africa (ROSEFONPA) and non-executive board member of Roseline Edward-Ekpo American Africa-Continental Specialists Hospital Ltd.[6][7]

Edward-Ekpo is a current QAHE-PHU's Distinguished Professor of International Environmental Law at the Pepple Hills University Newark, Delaware, USA and an honorary Professor of Public International Law (h.c) at Smart International College and Academy (SIA), London, United Kingdom.[8]
