Career

Illescas is a travel content creator and model, he started his professional journey around 2016. Since then, he has over 2.5 million followers across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

His travels have taken him to over 80 countries, including notable destinations like Peru, Costa Rica, Tanzania, Namibia, the United Arab Emirates, Argentina, China, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Iceland, United States, the Maldives, the Bahamas, Mauritius, Gambia, Kenya, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, South Korea, Finland, India, Jamaica, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Brazil. He documented each journey on his social media platforms through self-produced vlogs and photographs.

In May 2023, he graced the cover of Men's Health Spain, and in 2021, Forbes Spain magazine named him one of the top travel influencers.

Illescas is also celebrated for his unique social media and YouTube series Los sueños de mi abuela, where he fulfills the remaining dreams of his grandmother, La Iaia Carmen, before she passes away. The series has gained attention in press articles, radio interviews, and TV programs.

In 2017, he launched a charitable project in Kenya with the Índigo Association, which spanned four years and culminated in building a kitchen in an orphanage. Later, in 2019, he shared his experiences in his book Be a part of It, published by Editorial Planeta.

His contributions to the digital world as a travel influencer earned him a TWB award in 2022, a GenZ Award in 2023, and two nominations for the IDOLO Awards, one in 2022 and another in 2024.

Illescas has collaborated with brands such as Dior, YSL, Prada, Paco Rabanne, Gucci, Loewe, TAG Heuer, Porsche, Boss, Moncler, Emporio Armani, Ralph Lauren, Tom Ford, Nike, and others.

Masterchef Celebrity 8

Illescas was a contestant and the third finalist on the 8th season of Masterchef Celebrity, which premiered on September 8, 2023, on La 1 of RTVE, following its official presentation at the FesTVal in Vitoria. The show features Spanish chefs Jordi Cruz, Pepe Rodríguez, and Samantha Vallejo Najera as hosts.
