He won the silver medal in the men's 1500 metres T54 event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham, England.[1][2] He is also a two-time bronze medalist at the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships held in Paris, France.
Career
Sidbury is a T54-classified athlete who competes in wheelchair racing competitions. In 2021, he won the silver medal in the men's 1500 metres T54 event at the World Para Athletics European Championships held in Bydgoszcz, Poland.[3]
In that same year, he represented Great Britain at the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan. He competed in the men's 400 metres T54, men's 800 metres T54, men's 1500 metres T54 and men's 5000 metres T54 events.
In 2023, he won the bronze medal in the men's 5000 metres T54 event at the World Para Athletics Championships held in Paris, France.[4] He finished in 4th place in the men's 400 metres T54 event.
