Darevskia derjugini is a species of lizard in the family Lacertidae. The species is native to Southeast Europe and Western Asia. There are six recognized subspecies.

Etymology

The specific name, derjugini, is in honor of Russian hydrobiologist Konstantin Michailovich Derjugin.[1]

Geographic range

D. derjugini is found in Azerbaijan, Georgia, southwestern Russia, and Turkey.[2][3]

Habitat

The preferred natural habitat of D. derjugini is forest, at altitudes of Шаблон:Convert.[2]

Reproduction

D. derjugini is oviparous.[3] Clutch size is four to eight eggs.[2]

Subspecies

Six subspecies are recognized as being valid, including the nominotypical subspecies.
