She married Raju Dhakal on 2008.[1] She meet Dhakal on 2004 in Folk Duet program.[1] She was elected as open central member of "Lok Dohori Pratisthan" (Folk Duet Academy) in 2019.[2]

Her 2017 Panche baja song "Oralima Bar" was written by Sharad pandey and sung by Pandey and Devi Gharti Magar herself.[11] In 2020 she along with Ramji Khand came up with the song "Dui mutuko bandhan".[12] Same year she released the song "takine aaina".[13]
