Biography

Dilbar Abdulazizova graduated from the Tashkent State Theater and Art Institute (nowadays known as Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture) named after Alexander Nikolayevich Ostrovsky in 1972.[5] That same year, she began working at the Samarkand Regional Musical Drama Theater named after Hamid Olimjon. In 1973, she became an actress at the Republic of Uzbekistan's Youth Theater.[2][4][5]

In 2000, Dilbar Abdulazizova Honored artist of Uzbekistan, and in 2013, she was honored with the title of People's Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan.[1][4][5][6][7]

Abdulazizova passed away on March 15, 2019, after a prolonged illness.[1]

Dilbar Abdulazizova acted in more than ten different plays. Her main roles were in the following productions:

Dilbar Abdulazizova also acted in Uzbekistan's films:

  • "Bahor qaytmaydi" — played the role of Lobar (1970).[8]
  • "Sarvinoz" — played the role of Ilhom's mother in his youth (2004).[8][5]
  • "Sehrgar" — played the role of an aunt(2011).[8][5]
