Doria's green snake (Ptyas doriae) is a species of snake in the family Colubridae. The species is endemic to Asia.[1]

Etymology

The specific name, doriae, is in honor of Italian naturalist Giacomo Doria.[2]

Geographic range

P. doriae is found in southwestern China (Yunnan), northeastern India (Assam), and northern Myanmar (Kachin Hills).[1]

Habitat

The preferred natural habitats of P. doriae are forest, shrubland, and grassland, at altitudes of Шаблон:Cvt.[3]

Description

P. doriae may attain a total length of Шаблон:Cvt, which includes a tail Шаблон:Cvt long. It is greenish dorsally, and whitish ventrally. The upper lip is also whitish. The dorsal scales are smooth, without apical pits, and arranged in 15 rows throughout the length of the body.[4]

Behavior

P. doriae is diurnal[3] and partly arboreal.[1]

Reproduction

P. doriae is oviparous.[1]
