Explosion, also known as Equals Explosion, is the second studio album by The Equals, released in December 1967.[1][2]

Two songs on the album were originally written by recently deceased Bobby Fuller for his group The Bobby Fuller Four.[3] The starting track, "Giddy Up a Ding Dong" was originally a '50s number by Freddie Bell and the Bellboys.[3] All of their original numbers were written by either Eddy Grant, Derv Gordon, or Lincoln Gordon (all three wrote four tracks, Grant-only wrote two, Grant-D. Gordon wrote one, and D. Gordon-L. Gordon also wrote one[4]).

The albums catalogue number is PTLS 1015.[2][5]
