A fatayer (Шаблон:Lang-ar) is a meat pie that can alternatively be stuffed with spinach, or cheese such as feta or akkawi. It is part of Levantine cuisine and is eaten in Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Israel, Iraq, Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen.[1] In Argentina, the fatayer are popular due to being a variety of empanada, called empanada árabe.
