Shreya Ghoshal has the most of nominations(9). She also has the most consecutive nominations(5), from 2012 to 2016, resulting in two wins.

The Filmfare Best Female Playback Award – Telugu is given by the Filmfare magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards South for Telugu films. The first award in Telugu was given in 2006. However, from 1997-2005 a common award for playback was shared between Male and Female singers of all the four South Indian languages, but all those years maximum wins were by Male singers only. K. S. Chithra is the first recipient of a Filmfare award under Best Playback Singer Female Category Telugu- 2006 & also holds the record for maximum number of wins in Telugu.
