Шаблон:Short description Шаблон:Use dmy dates Шаблон:Use Hiberno-English Шаблон:About Шаблон:Infobox noble Giolla Pádraig O'More (Шаблон:Lang-ga), anglicised Gillapatrick, was an Irish noble. He was Lord of Laois from about 1398 until his death in 1420.

His rise to power was unexpected, as his grandfather, David mac Lysaght O'More, had lost the title in 1348.[1]

O'More's father was named Fachtna (died 1377),[1][2] and his son was named Uaithne (c. 1400 - 1490).[1]

Giolla Pádraig O'More's wife, the daughter of Murchadh O'Connor Faly, died in 1404.[2][1] Later that year, O'More gained victory over the English at Atha Duibh. According to the Annals of the Four Masters, "many persons were slain, and great spoil was taken in horses, arms, and armour."[2]

In late November 1414, Lieutenant John Talbot, Lord Furnival, arrived in Ireland.[3] He devastated Laois and took O'More's castle in early 1415.[2]
