Grant's worm snake (Antillotyphlops granti), also known commonly as the Guanica blindsnake, is a species of snake in the family Typhlopidae. The species is endemic to Puerto Rico.[1][2]
Etymology
The specific name, granti, is in honor of American herpetologist Chapman Grant.[3]
Geographic range
A. granti is found in southwestern Puerto Rico, including Caja de Muertos, an island Шаблон:Convert offshore from Ponce.[1][4]
Habitat
The preferred natural habitat of A. granti is forest, at altitudes from sea level to Шаблон:Cvt.[1]
Description
A. granti may attain a total length (including a short tail) of Шаблон:Cvt.[2]
