Шаблон:Short description Шаблон:Infobox person Hibriza "Briza" Nail Hawwa (born November 2004) is an Indonesian qāriʾ, actress, and singer. She was known as a delegate of Jakarta at the national level of Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur'an (MTQ), in 2022. Briza is currently studying law at Gadjah Mada University and became a permanent MTQ delegate of the university after winning the National Student Competition for Arts and Sports at Ahmad Dahlan University, in 2023.
Early life
Briza was born in November 2004 in Jakarta, Indonesia. She graduated from MA Negeri 4 Jakarta and went to Faculty of Law at Gadjah Mada University majoring in law, in 2023, and received Beasiswa Indonesia Maju (BIM) scholarship.[1][2]
Career
Briza started her career as an actress by performing at Kereta Seni Bersama UI (2021), a broadway production by University of Indonesia, and presenting a performance about hustle culture in the virtual conference realm.[3] She also made her singing debut by released two single "Bermain Dengan Api" and "Kisah Tiga Sekawan" from her album Titik Lampau which was published by Amazon Music.[4] In 2022, Briza participated in the national level of Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran representing Jakarta which was held at South Kalimantan, and became the third winner of the six teams consisting of 18 participants.[5][6] On 3 April 2023, she participated in a national level competition for creating and reading poetry for civil servant's children held by the Directorate General of Treasury under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance, and managed to get third place out of three participants by presenting a poem titled Pulang Kampuang.[7] On 16 August, Briza became a delegation of Gadjah Mada University at National Student Competition for Arts and Sports which was held by UAD Fair at Ahmad Dahlan University, and became a second winner in the poetry reading competition.[1]
In January 2024, Briza became a speaker at Forum Stabilitas Karakter (literally Character Stability Forum; FORBIKA) which was held by MA Negeri 4 Jakarta from 19 until 20 January and advocating for ways to balance achievement, academics and organization, as well as providing motivation to be enthusiastic about achieving goals.[2]
