Шаблон:Nihongo is a kind of jacket traditionally worn over a kimono. It later came to be worn by women.[1] Шаблон:Transl are sleeveless and more likely to be worn by children, while sleeved Шаблон:Transl are more often worn by adults. Sleeveless Шаблон:Transl serve as smocks, protecting the clothing underneath, while sleeved Шаблон:Transl are more likely to be worn for warmth. Structure

The Шаблон:Transl's shape and use are similar to those of the Шаблон:Transl (a wrapped-front kimono coat). Unlike the Шаблон:Transl, however, the Шаблон:Transl is a double-breasted coat; the front panels are wide enough to cover the whole chest, and they tie (or button)[2] at the shoulders. Its neckline is square with a flat collar (Шаблон:Transl), not a round collar (Шаблон:Transl).[1] A Шаблон:Transl may be padded for extra warmth.[3]

Fancy Шаблон:Transl are often made of Шаблон:Transl (Japanese figured silk satin) and tied with silk braided cords in a chrysanthemum knot. They are worn by young children on the occasion of Шаблон:Transl, as part of an auspicious formal outfit.
