Education and career

Chen was a student of process control at Zhejiang University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in 1983 and a master's degree in 1986.Шаблон:R In 1986, she joined the faculty of Jilin University.Шаблон:R She went to the University of Stuttgart in Germany for doctoral study in system dynamics and control engineering, beginning in 1993, and completed her Ph.D. there in 1997.Шаблон:R Her dissertation, Stability and Robustness Considerations in Nonlinear Model Predictive Control, was supervised by Шаблон:Ill.Шаблон:R
