Ichinohe Station is served by the Iwate Ginga Railway Line, and is located 64.5 kilometers from the starting point of the line at Morioka Station and 599.8 kilometers from Tokyo Station.

History

The station was opened on 15 February 1893, with the name rendered in Japanese as Шаблон:Nihongo2.[1] The kanji characters for the name were changed to Шаблон:Nihongo2 on 1 November 1907.[1] The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987,[1] and was transferred to the Iwate Ginga Railway on 1 September 2002.
