Шаблон:Nihongo is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tomoko Yamashita. It was serialized in Shodensha's [[Josei manga|Шаблон:Transl manga]] magazine Feel Young from June 2017 to June 2023, with its chapters collected in 11 Шаблон:Transl volumes. A live-action film adaptation is set to premiere in June 2024.

Written and illustrated by Tomoko Yamashita, Ikoku Nikki was serialized in Shodensha's [[Josei manga|Шаблон:Transl manga]] magazine Feel Young from June 8, 2017,[4][5] to June 8, 2023.[6][7][8] Shodensha collected its chapters in 11 Шаблон:Transl volumes, released from November 8, 2017.[9] to August 8, 2023.[10]

Film

In June 2023, it was announced that the series would receive a live-action film adaptation, directed by Natsuki Seta and starring Yui Aragaki as Makio Kōdai.[11][1] It is set to premiere in Japanese theaters on June 7, 2024.[12][13]

Reception

In 2019, the manga was nominated for the 12th Manga Taishō and ranked fourth with 45 points;[14] in 2020, it was nominated for the 13th award and ranked tenth with 31 points.[15]

On Takarajimasha's Kono Manga ga Sugoi! list of best manga of 2019 for female readers, the series ranked fourth;[16] it ranked tenth on the 2020 list;[17] and fifth on the 2024 list.[18]

The series topped the 2023 "Book of the Year" list by Da Vinci magazine.[19]

The series has been nominated for the 28th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize.[20]
