Issac Bailey is a professor at Davidson College, former columnist, and author. He wrote a column for The Sun News in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.[1] He wrote a book about his family's experiences after his older brother committed a murder[2] and a book of essays Why Didn't We Riot? A Black Man in Trumpland.

He graduated from Davidson College in 1995.[3] He is a professor of public policy at Davidson.[4] He is married and has two children.[5] His nieces are singers and actresses Chloe and Halle Bailey.[5]
